Minister Casadora Boone, who goes by Minister Cassie, is a licensed and ordained minister and appointed Youth Pastor at Christian Bible Way Church (CBWC), a Pentecostal, non-denominational church in North Oakland, CA. She serves under the leadership of CBWC Senior Pastor Sharon Avery-Boone.
Growing up in a Christian household, Minister Cassie was instilled with the importance of going to church and upholding the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She grew up going to CBWC with her first pastor being Pastor Dorothy McGhee, followed by Pastor Willie Reed. At CWBC, she participated as a singer during praise and worship, singing solos. As an adolescent, she attended Shiloh Church in Oakland, CA. There, she was baptized in the Holy Spirit at 12 years old. She served as volunteer at children/youth related events. In 2017, she returned to CBWC, under the pastoral leadership of Pastors Sharon Boone and Willie Reed.
While earning her bachelor’s degree, she became a member of the Irvine Christian Students organization, which is associated with a larger church in Irvine, CA called The Church in Irvine. As a part of this organization, she was a writer for the organizations blog. In the summer of 2020, then Sister Cassie, began her ministerial work. She began teaching youth Bible study, which she taught for 4 years.
After earning her bachelor's degree in the field of biology, she began her graduate school studies and is completing her Ph.D. in nutritional sciences. In 2024, Cassie was licensed and ordained as a minister at CBWC by a council of ministers and in the presence of the CBWC congregation. Minister Cassie currently serves as a Sunday school and Bible study teacher, preacher, and general clergy in the church. In January 2025, she founded the women’s prayer group Elite Women Praying for Change (EWPC) and is the president of this organization. She also posts inspiration Christian content on her ministry accounts on social media. Cassie loves spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all ages and backgrounds and encourages people to read the Bible and be empowered by the Holy Spirit in their everyday lives.
